Consultorio Inmobiliario: Mi jefe no invierte en formación
He recibido esta consulta de Noelia:
Hola Jean Paul, trabajo desde hace un par de años en una empresa inmobiliaria y necesitaría que me orientaras para convencer a mi superior de la necesidad de mi empresa para realizar un curso en gestión inmobiliaria. Con los tiempos que corren creo que es una asignatura pendiente en este mundo inmobiliario la necesidad de una formación especializada pero claro, ¿Cómo convencer a un superior de este gasto?

Estimada Noelia,
Soy consciente de la necesidad que tienen los empresarios y agentes inmobiliarios de recortar gastos para salir adelante. Hoy en día, ningún gasto está justificado si no es capaz de generar recursos o beneficios que superan esa inversión a corto, medio o largo plazo. Partiendo de esta base, toda inversión debe por lo menos pagarse a sí misma y justificar el dinero, recursos o el tiempo que se ha invertido en ella. Si encima genera un beneficio directo, pues mejor que mejor. En este aspecto entiendo la postura de tu jefe en el que puede pensar que todo gasto que se haga ahora es un despilfarro.
Sin embargo existen ocasiones donde recortar la inversión puede resultar perjudicial para la estabilidad y viabilidad de las empresas. Conozco un carnicero que invitaba a la gente que pasaba en frente de su mostrador a degustar los embutidos y quesos que vendía. Se había convertido en algo habitual pasar por su puesto y probar lo que estaba regalando ese día. A la gente le gustaba y muchos se paraban y compraban sus productos ahí. Mientras esperaban iban picoteando. Con esto de la crisis, el carnicero dejó de ofrecer las degustaciones y el puesto perdió su encanto. Ahora da igual comprarle el queso o la carne a él o a la carnicería de enfrente. Estoy seguro que esa pequeña inversión le resultaba rentable, aunque él no sea capaz de verlo a corto plazo porque su único objetivo era reducir gastos drásticamente.
A tu jefe le pasa lo mismo. No es capaz de ver los beneficios de una correcta formación de sus empleados. ¿Por qué no lo ve? Seguramente porque se diga a sí mismo: “Para que gasto dinero si encima no se vende nada.” ¡Pues está totalmente equivocado! No se da cuenta que la manera de comprar viviendas ha cambiado drásticamente en los últimos tiempos. No se da cuenta que gracias a internet, la gente ha cambiado su mentalidad y su proceso de toma de decisiones. No se da cuenta que las técnicas y conocimientos de antes ya no sirven en los tiempos que corren.
No te quedes a la cola del pelotón inmobiliario y conviértete en un Miguel Induráin ya. Se está vendiendo. Se está reactivando el sector. Hay agentes inmobiliarios que lo están haciendo bien y se están formando.
Enséñale esto a tu jefe y si no se convence, avísame. ¡Lo llamo y lo convenzo yo!

Tengo una buena noticia- mi jefe ha accedido al curso. Es más, me ha animado a realizarlo y ahora estoy barajando varios. Si conoces alguno serio y realmente practico dímelo porfavor.

Como bien dices la formacion es importante. Pero la formacion no pasa unicamente por carisimos cursos donde dormitar tranquilamente.
Se puede organizar dentro de la propia empresa interesantisimas propuestas con medios propios a costes muy bajos.
El interes por la autoformacion, es el paso previo y necesario para recibir una buena informacion que nos forme.
O, ¿queremos tan solo, un buen curso a poder ser de una escuela prestigiosa, que quede de cine en nuestro curriculum y nos ayude a cambiar de empresa en caso de necesidad? En fin el tema no es facil, en pisoslahorta.com la formacion de todo tipo es parte del dia a dia de la empresa.
Efectivamente. No pretendía insinuar que la formación adecuada fuesen cursos carísimos y fuera del alcance de muchos profesionales modestos. Al contrario- pienso que la mejor formación es la curiosidad y las ganas de aprender de cada persona. Hoy en día tenemos los suficientes recursos para ser autodidactas en casi cualquier materia.
Con respecto al curso de Noteges.com, me parece extraordinaria la labor de motivación y formación que están haciendo. Son de los pocos que han cogido el toro por los cuernos y ahí están sus resultados. ¿Qué el precio de la convención es elevado? Eso es relativo. Aunque sé de buena tinta que muchos no han podido ir porque estaba fuera de sus posibilidades.
