El otro día iba conduciendo y escuchando el último CD de Coldplay. Al escuchar la canción que más me gusta de todo el disco no pude evitar buscar una conexión entre la letra y la actual situación de los agentes inmobiliarios en estos momentos.

Al leer esto, no puedo evitar reconocer que en años anteriores, quizás los agentes inmobiliarios han “gobernado el mundo”. Ahora que las cosas van mal, no viene mal hacer un poco de autorreflexión y ser humildes. Es cierto que la crisis económica esta afectando mucho y que los bancos tienen el grifo cerrado pero eso no quita todos los errores que se han cometido en el pasado y aun no se han solucionado.
No lo digo yo solamente. Hay personas que no son expertas en el sector inmobiliario y también lo ven.

Sin embargo no es posible tener éxito si se olvidan los principios fundamentales del negocio: estamos tratando con personas y nuestro objetivo es ayudarlas. Aunque yo añadiría que siempre debería haber sido así, alguien debería haber sido humilde, alguien debería haber reflexionado de una situación de bonanza que, aunque hubiera durado la eternidad, no era sana para la economía.
En muchos sitios, la mayoría se olvidaron que trataban con clientes, con humanos, con los sueños de muchos que ahora se convierten en pesadillas para ambos lados: el cliente que no puede pagar su casa, el cliente cuya hipoteca supera el importe de su vivienda, la inmobiliaria que ahora no vende, el promotor que no guardó para un posible futuro incierto.

Y que en la empresa en la que trabajamos nos adaptamos al cliente y al mercado tras una profunda investigación del entorno de competidores y necesidades de sus clientes.
Tampoco soy un experto en packaging o un experto en cocinas y llevo las campañas de publicidad online de un importante fabricante y cadena de tiendas… entre otras.
